Meet Caty, A Fearless Leader & Mentor
Caty, Operations Supervisor at Werner, recently celebrated her fourth year with the company.
Her path to Werner was a bit nontraditional. She held her first leadership role at 19 while still pursuing her undergraduate degree in business administration – a perfect example of her commitment to going the extra mile.
In 2019, Caty made the move to Werner. Since joining, she has been fearless in tackling challenges and pursuing success for herself, her team and her customers. Her peers describe her as tenacious, detail-oriented and confident.
Caty quickly rose through the ranks at Werner to earn her role today as Operations Supervisor, where she’s already succeeded by improving on-time service to customers by 10 percent. She coaches and develops a team of Dedicated Logistics Managers, manages relationships with major retailers and ensures customer satisfaction with custom freight solutions and PowerLink support.
Beyond her role, Caty is active in Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) and mentorship programs at Werner. She takes great pride in helping build and foster a culture of innovation and inclusivity at Werner by assisting peers and team members in feeling like they belong.
A strong believer in the power of mentoring, Caty mentors several associates and interns. She’s also a steering committee member of The Women’s Leadership Alliance (WLA), a Werner ARG focused on making the company a workplace of choice for women. With this group, Caty is a champion for other women at Werner, helping them increase their visibility and celebrate their successes.

Meet Eileen, A Change Management Expert & Industry Leader
Eileen is the Director of Learning & Development at Werner, a role she recently stepped into based on a long history of leading and managing employee training and professional development. She found her way to Werner after serving as the Director of Learning, Development, & Marketing at ReedTMS, which Werner acquired in late 2022.
In 2016, Eileen joined ReedTMS as the first Corporate Trainer, tasked with building a comprehensive employee training program. She excelled in this role, establishing all programming from new employee orientation to leadership training.
In addition, she led all training on internal systems and services, like Salesforce and Trucker Tools. Based on this success, Eileen quickly progressed at ReedTMS, becoming Learning & Development Manager and then Director of Learning & Development.
As a new member of the Werner team, Eileen is bringing her skills and experience to drive change management within the organization. She works closely with the Operational Change Management team to ensure that the ReedTMS team successfully and smoothly integrates with Werner. Eileen has quickly engrained herself in the Werner team, becoming a member of the WLA Leadership Panel.
Beyond her role at Werner, Eileen is also very involved with industry associations and organizations, including the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association (TMSA), Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), Women in Trucking Association (WIT) and American Trucking Association (ATA).
She is on the Board of Directors of TMSA and TIA and a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of WIT, highlighting her commitment to industry leadership.
